Customer Service Representative

Position Overview
The Customer Experience Associate plays a pivotal role in overseeing operations within a food service environment. This role demands an individual who is not only friendly but also deeply committed to providing a tailored customer experience. The associate will actively engage with customers, promoting the advantages of the Military Star Credit Card to enhance sales and foster customer loyalty.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise food preparation and sales during assigned shifts.
- Ensure quality control by receiving and verifying food and supply items.
- Estimate and order necessary food and supplies.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them by understanding their needs, providing suggestions, and expressing gratitude for their patronage.
- Address customer complaints promptly and effectively, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports related to accounting and facility management.
- Contribute to setting and achieving service and sales objectives for the food operation.
- Maintain optimal stock levels through regular inventory checks and updates to merchandise control records.
- Manage personnel costs and productivity standards effectively.
- Perform duties of subordinate associates as needed based on workload.
- Open and close the facility according to established policies and regulations.
- Ensure the security of cash, assets, and inventory while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Initiate maintenance and repair work orders as required.
- Supervise assigned associates, including scheduling, work distribution, performance reviews, and training.
- Ensure compliance with all brand standards and operational guidelines.
- Stay informed about and support the implementation of relevant public laws and directives related to equal opportunity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a minimum of six months of experience in restaurant or related food service operations. Successful completion of NBFF training or the Exchange Restaurant Operations Management Academy (ROMA) is also acceptable.
Work Environment
This position may require flexibility in scheduling, including availability on weekends and holidays. Candidates must understand the responsibilities associated with representing the Exchange and the United States in a professional manner.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $21.71 and $25.33 per hour, commensurate with experience.
