Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager Avionics / Self Protection Systems (f/m/d) for our division focused on Self Protection Systems Air. This division plays a crucial role in managing both international client projects and internal development initiatives related to self-protection systems for aviation platforms.Our interdisciplinary project teams comprise professionals from various departments, including Finance, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Sales, collaborating in both national and international contexts to meet project objectives and secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee national and international projects in the realm of self-protection systems for aerial vehicles. Facilitate and ensure collaboration among all essential stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle in a global setting. Drive project success, particularly regarding budget, timelines, and performance/quality metrics, while implementing proactive risk management and claims handling. Initiate, manage, and coordinate necessary actions across involved organizational units to meet project goals. Assist in the planning and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at market-driven product development and future concepts, enhancing market share, and ensuring effective implementation of these strategies. Support acquisition efforts and prepare proposals in response to client inquiries to fulfill our international growth objectives. Contribute positively to the team dynamics and foster a robust corporate culture.Candidate Profile
Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business management, or a related field. Extensive experience in project management. Proven track record of working in international teams and serving as a liaison across diverse organizational units and clients. Background in managing complex military projects involving multiple subcontractors. Familiarity with bid preparation and contract negotiations in a global context. Knowledge or experience in aerospace and/or defense sectors, particularly in self-protection systems. Ability to work independently and solution-oriented, with excellent communication skills. Professional demeanor in international military environments and during negotiations. Proficient in both German and English.What We Offer
