Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Avionics / Self Protection Systems to join our team at the Taufkirchen site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage national and international customer projects in the field of self-protection systems for flying platforms.
  • Coordinate the cooperation of all necessary stakeholders in an international environment during the entire project phases.
  • Achieve project objectives, particularly in terms of cost, time, and performance/quality, including proactive risk and opportunity management.
  • Initiate, manage, and coordinate measures to achieve objectives in involved organizational units.
  • Support the planning and implementation of divisional strategic tasks to develop products and future concepts, expand market share, and ensure strategy implementation.
  • Acquisition support and offer preparation based on customer inquiries to achieve international growth targets.
  • Contribute to a strong corporate culture and team spirit.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering, business management, or similar.
  • Several years of professional experience in project management.
  • Experience working in international teams and as an interface to various organizational units and customers.
  • Experience managing complex military projects with multiple subcontractors.
  • Experience in bid preparation and contract negotiations in an international environment.
  • Knowledge/experience in aerospace and/or defense, ideally self-protection systems.
  • Independent, solution-oriented work, and excellent communication skills.
  • Confident manner in an international, military environment, and during negotiations.
  • Business fluent in German and English.
