Overview
We are seeking a dedicated "Project Manager Engineering (f/m/d)" to join our "IFF / Data Link Engineering" division at the Taufkirchen location.The IFF Product Engineering, IFF Customising, and IFF Development teams operate under the main department of "IFF/Data Link Engineering". The role of the Project Manager Engineering encompasses overseeing the development of specific products and product lines within the IFF Product Engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting thorough analysis of customer requirements, both internal and external, while evaluating feasibility and deriving comprehensive product specifications. Formulating a holistic approach to address product-related challenges. Identifying and assessing risks, alongside time and cost implications, while establishing effective mitigation strategies. Defining and clarifying work steps and packages, preparing detailed descriptions, and accurately estimating costs, including internal quotation preparation. Selecting potential vendors, soliciting and reviewing proposals, and verifying interfaces. Establishing milestones, developing work plans and timelines, and coordinating overall project planning. Monitoring and controlling project status and processes (deliverables and timelines), identifying and resolving issues, and implementing corrective actions while adhering to economic objectives. Leading team members in alignment with project goals and responsibilities.Candidate Profile
Degree in communications engineering or a related field. Proven experience in secondary radar technology. Background in team leadership, Agile Scrum methodologies, and project management. Familiarity with the complete product development lifecycle (HMS, Hensoldt Management System). Proficient in tools such as MS-Project, Doors, Jira, and SAP. Excellent command of German and proficient in business English.Additional Benefits
