Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager Engineering (f/m/d) to join our IFF / Data Link Engineering division at the Taufkirchen location. The successful candidate will oversee the development of specific products and product lines within the IFF Product Engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer requirements (both internal and external) and assess feasibility, leading to the formulation of comprehensive product specifications.
  • Create a holistic approach to address product-related challenges.
  • Identify and analyze risks, along with time and cost implications, while establishing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Define and clarify work steps and packages, prepare detailed descriptions, and conduct cost estimations, including internal quotation preparations.
  • Select potential vendors, solicit and review proposals, and assess interface compatibility.
  • Establish project milestones, develop work plans and timelines, and coordinate overall project scheduling.
  • Monitor and manage project progress and processes (deliverables and timelines), proactively identifying issues and implementing corrective actions while adhering to economic objectives.
  • Lead team members in alignment with project goals and responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • A degree in communications engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in secondary radar technology.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in Agile Scrum methodologies and project management.
  • Familiarity with the complete product development lifecycle (HMS, Hensoldt Management System).
  • Proficient in tools such as MS-Project, Doors, Jira, and SAP.
  • Excellent command of German and business-level proficiency in English.
