Team Overview
The Cross Divisional Strategic Execution (XDIV) team within the EO is tasked with delivering significant revenue, compliance, regulatory, and efficiency projects that necessitate cross-divisional collaboration. XDIV operates as a specialized execution unit within the Executive Office, utilizing proven methodologies for effective program delivery, alongside functional and technical expertise, to support senior management in executing their most complex projects. This team serves as a vital connector among various divisions, functions, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
We are in search of a Project Manager / Business Analyst who possesses exceptional analytical, communication, and coordination skills to address the needs across different divisions. The responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing the execution of high-priority strategic initiatives for our EMEA operations by applying advanced project management skills and a strong understanding of banking processes.
  • Engaging with business users to identify, define, and document requirements.
  • Creating business workflow diagrams, use cases, requirement specifications, logical data models, and business test scenarios, along with status reports.
  • Supporting the project team throughout the entire development lifecycle by clarifying business requirements, testing applications and reports, and ensuring that technical solutions align with business needs.
  • Contributing to the analysis and decision-making processes regarding the strategic objectives of specific projects.
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of various areas within the firm.
  • Setting agendas for requirements workshops and meetings, facilitating steering groups, and managing other project governance meetings.
  • Communicating updates, statuses, and timelines to stakeholders, while escalating unresolved or at-risk items.
  • Prioritizing analysis based on risks and demonstrating the ability to work with incomplete information.
  • Conducting detailed problem tracking, resolutions, and ensuring completion of all actions and issues by their deadlines.


Qualifications
  • A highly motivated individual capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated energy, focus, drive, and a sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present business cases and achieve consensus with senior management.
  • Ability to coordinate activities with multiple interdependencies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent international qualification.
  • Over 6 years of experience as a Project Manager and Business Analyst in the financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with Investment Banking business and financial concepts, products, and services.
  • Understanding of technology concepts and the fundamentals of the System Development Life Cycle.
  • Experience in developing test plans, strategies, and conducting User Acceptance Testing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management from initiation to implementation, including risk and issue management.
  • Capability to critically assess current processes to propose and implement functional improvements.
  • German language skills are not required.
