As a key member of the Controllers team, the Vice President of Regulatory Oversight plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization adheres to all financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated financial institution. This position is responsible for assessing the profitability and risks associated with various business activities, ensuring compliance with financial market regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
- Lead the management of the firm's liquidity, capital, and risk, contributing to overall financial control and reporting functions.
- Coordinate the assessment and approval of new business initiatives, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic objectives.
- Engage with various departments including Legal, Compliance, and Risk to facilitate the introduction of new products and activities.
- Conduct thorough analyses of new products, identifying structural and implementation challenges, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Document and present business justifications for new activities to senior management for approval.
YOUR IMPACT
