Team Overview
The Cross Divisional Strategic Execution (XDIV) team within the EO is tasked with executing significant revenue-generating, regulatory, and efficiency projects that necessitate cross-divisional collaboration. XDIV operates as a specialized execution unit within the Executive Office, employing proven methodologies for effective program delivery, along with functional and technical expertise. This team is essential in uniting various divisions, functions, and stakeholders to achieve cohesive project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
We are in search of a Project Manager / Business Analyst who possesses exceptional analytical, communication, and coordination skills to address the needs across divisions. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the execution of high-priority strategic initiatives for our EMEA operations by utilizing top-tier project management skills and a robust understanding of banking processes.
- Engaging with business users to identify, articulate, and document requirements.
- Creating business workflow diagrams, use cases, requirement specifications, logical data models, and business test scenarios, along with status reports.
- Supporting the project team throughout the development lifecycle by clarifying business requirements, testing applications and reports, and ensuring technical solutions align with business needs.
- Contributing to the analysis and strategic decision-making for specific project objectives.
- Acquiring in-depth knowledge of various areas within the firm.
- Setting agendas for requirements workshops and meetings, facilitating steering groups, and other project governance sessions.
- Communicating updates, statuses, and timelines to stakeholders while escalating unresolved or at-risk items.
- Prioritizing analysis based on risk assessments and demonstrating the ability to work with incomplete information.
- Conducting thorough problem tracking, resolution, and ensuring completion of all actions and issues by their deadlines.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A high level of motivation and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated energy, focus, drive, and a sense of urgency.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present business cases and achieve consensus with senior management.
- The capability to coordinate activities with multiple interdependencies.
- A Bachelor's degree or its international equivalent.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Project Manager and Business Analyst within the financial services sector.
- A solid understanding of investment banking business and financial concepts, products, and services.
- Familiarity with technology concepts and the fundamentals of the system development lifecycle.
- Experience in developing test plans, strategies, and conducting user acceptance testing.
- Knowledge and experience in project management from initiation to implementation, including risk and issue management.
- The ability to critically assess current processes to propose and implement functional improvements.
- German language skills are not required.
