Team Overview
The Cross Divisional Strategic Execution (XDIV) team within the EO is tasked with delivering significant revenue, regulatory, control, and efficiency projects that necessitate cross-divisional collaboration. XDIV serves as a specialized execution unit within the Executive Office, employing proven methodologies for effective program delivery, along with functional and technical expertise to support senior management in executing their most intricate projects. XDIV is strategically positioned to unify diverse divisions, functions, requirements, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of high-priority strategic initiatives for the EMEA sector by utilizing superior project management skills and a comprehensive understanding of banking operations.
- Engage with business stakeholders to identify, articulate, and document project requirements.
- Create business workflow diagrams, use cases, requirement specifications, logical data models, and business test scenarios, along with status reports.
- Assist the project team throughout the development lifecycle by clarifying business needs, testing applications and reports, and ensuring technical solutions align with business objectives.
- Contribute to the analysis and strategic decision-making processes for specific project objectives.
- Develop in-depth knowledge across various firm sectors.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and meetings, managing steering groups and other project governance discussions.
- Provide updates, status reports, and timelines to stakeholders, while escalating unresolved or at-risk items.
- Prioritize analysis based on risk assessments and demonstrate capability to operate with incomplete information.
- Conduct thorough problem tracking, resolution, and ensure completion of all actions and issues within established deadlines.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Exhibit high levels of energy, focus, drive, and urgency.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
- Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present business cases and foster consensus among senior management.
- Adept at coordinating activities with multiple interdependencies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent international qualification.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Project Manager and Business Analyst in the financial services sector.
- Familiarity with Investment Banking business and financial concepts, products, and services.
- Understanding of technology concepts and fundamentals of the System Development Life Cycle.
- Experience in developing test plans, strategies, and conducting User Acceptance Testing.
- Knowledge and experience in project management from initiation to implementation, including risk and issue management.
- Ability to critically assess current processes to propose and implement functional enhancements.
- German language proficiency is not required.
