Job Title: Sales Manager IBN South-East Germany and Austria

Corning is a leading technology company that invents life-changing products using materials science. We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team in Germany, responsible for maximizing sales and margin for our Optical Communications products in the Enterprise Network market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed budgeted sales levels for all products.
  • Generate leads and identify new opportunities, positioning and specifying Corning's solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with end users, distribution channels, and installers.
  • Ensure that all Corning business processes are followed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (technical) or equivalent.
  • 3 or more years of sales experience preferably in the same industry, with proven success rate at levels above sales quota.
  • Strong technical/product/industry knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
  • High flexibility and willingness for 3 to 4 days of business travel per week.
