Technical Manager for Aramid Applications

Are you an experienced people manager with a technical background looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a talented individual to lead our Application Competence Center team in Wuppertal, Germany.

As a Technical Manager for Aramid Applications, you will be responsible for leading a team of 11 FTEs, mainly working on ballistic and protective business segments. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing the ACC team
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
  • Planning and controlling of budget
  • Investment planning and execution
  • Managing stakeholders
  • Safeguarding a safe work environment

You will be based in Wuppertal, Germany and report to the Global Technology and Application Manager Ballistics. The team is part of the Teijin Aramid Research & Innovation Centre (RIC).

We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience as a people manager, a technical background, and excellent communication skills. You should be a team player with a good command of English and German.
