Position Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned, analytical, and strategically oriented sales professional to fulfill the role of Strategic Account Executive. This position will focus on cultivating and expanding your portfolio and commercial relationships with our trade partners within your designated region. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding sales and customer service capabilities, coupled with the commercial insight necessary to drive substantial growth across various metrics, including TTV, margin, and room nights. You will collaborate closely with our Strategic Account Managers, Sales Executives, and other internal stakeholders to achieve your objectives while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the industry and a focus on client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client performance to identify new opportunities for increasing TTV, OM, and revenue to surpass established targets.
  • Lead initiatives for client acquisition.
  • Foster relationships with key travel agency partners.
  • Collaborate with broader sales and internal teams to align strategies for the sales region.
  • Negotiate, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of key commercial agreements.
  • Represent the organization at client conferences, trade shows, and other industry-related events.
  • Engage in strategic planning, reporting, and customer relationship management as necessary.
  • Serve as a liaison between our internal teams and external clients.
  • Conduct on-site sales visits with your portfolio of travel agency partners, including potential overnight stays as required.
  • Maintain and enhance commercial relationships with assigned clients while achieving performance targets.
  • Regularly interact with clients to establish and nurture strong commercial ties and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned clients in their dealings with Hotelbeds.
  • Continuously analyze the performance and development of assigned clients to boost HB's sales and mitigate churn.
  • Generate new business opportunities by introducing new products or destinations, exploring new markets, and promoting HB's key business lines.
  • Drive growth in sales and profitability through proactive management of an assigned account portfolio.
  • Focus on the expansion and development of existing client relationships.
  • Identify and assess critical client needs.
  • Master distribution protocols to ensure optimal product distribution for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Sales or Business.
  • Fluency in English (essential) or relevant market language (desirable).
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience within the travel industry.
  • Proficient in PC applications.
  • Advanced experience in Sales or Business.
  • Intermediate experience within the company.
  • Proficient in data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated individual.
  • Excellent computer skills and a basic understanding of technical solutions utilized by sales organizations, particularly Sales Force.
