About the Role

Acolad is a global leader in content and language solutions, driving growth and innovation across leading brands. We're seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our Life Sciences division in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries and customer groups, focusing on strategic, global, and enterprise-level opportunities.
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies with senior decision-makers, aligning customer needs with company strategies and operations.
  • Sell products by building relationships with prospects and recommending solutions, closing new business deals through effective contract negotiation and integration.
  • Lead the strategic development and execution of won and/or assigned new and ramping accounts, building market position through industry networking and public engagement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of prospects' business goals, competition, growth plans, and obstacles, positioning Acolad solutions and services effectively.
  • Implement sales and pipeline-building market strategies, managing an ongoing pipeline of revenue and activity.
  • Assist with RFP/Tender/Proposal, proactively developing sales skills and market/business knowledge, and sharing best practices with the Business Development team.
  • Achieve budgets, targets, activity levels, as agreed with the General Manager and Head of Sales, providing detailed and accurate sales forecasting/budgeting for personal new business pipeline.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of proven experience in new logo acquisition, business development, and reaching sales quota.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business management, economics, financial, or marketing.
  • Ideal candidate will have proven experience working in the Clinical, specifically Linguistic Validation space.
  • Must have a keen interest in driving efficiency and disruption in this space, comfortable incorporating AI and technology into service offerings.
  • Able to demand confidence and trust in a highly visible and growing area of the business.
