European Distribution Sales Specialist

Synthomer is a leading global supplier of sustainable polymer solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Distribution Sales Specialist to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through our distribution channel in Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual growth targets and drive business expansion through our distribution network.
- Manage a portfolio of distribution partners in Europe, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and alignment with Synthomer's goals.
- Collaborate with the European Distribution Manager to identify opportunities for growth and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- Monitor and analyze distribution partner performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, ensuring their needs are met and they are equipped to drive business growth.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to the Head of Global Distribution on distribution performance, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the specialty chemicals industry.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and improving sales performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with distribution partners and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to travel up to 40% within Europe, with occasional international travel.
