Accounting Specialist Fixed Assets

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in the Fixed Assets department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of our fixed assets, including the preparation of financial statements and the maintenance of our asset register.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Maintain and update the asset register, including the recording of asset purchases, sales, and disposals
- Perform asset impairment tests and write-downs as required
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely accounting of fixed assets
- Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting operations
Requirements
- Relevant accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, CPA)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a fixed assets role
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, including IFRS and HGB
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
