Accounting Specialist Fixed Assets

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in the Fixed Assets department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of our fixed assets, including the preparation of financial statements and the maintenance of our asset register.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS/HGB standards
- Maintain and update the asset register, including the recording of asset purchases, sales, and disposals
- Perform regular audits and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our financial records
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of our accounting processes
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/HGB standards and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA and MS Office
