Carve-out Workstream Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Carve-out Workstream Lead to join our team at ZF Group. As a key member of our Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team, you will be responsible for leading complex transversal workstreams in major strategic carve-outs.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the most complex transversal workstream in major strategic carve-outs, including multi-site, cross-country, and cross-functional projects.
- Accountable for the carve-out concept deliverables, including overall target operating model and per-function IT, entanglement analysis, carve-out cost adjustments, standalone costs, and FTE per function.
- Accountable for consistency and completeness of project plans and activities, overall and per site, and instruct project managers on carve-out related content and pitfalls.
- Senior advisor to determine the carve-out scope, design, and conceptualization of new operating models, downsizing to small-medium enterprises.
- Manage carve-out interdependencies, carve-out risk management, and direct project office resources and external consultants to produce required data and documents.
- Lead the carve-out readiness assessment before the project go/no-go decision and apply best practices and guidelines established by the carve-out governance body.
- Fully integrate the carve-out management office (COMO) team and feed-back learnings, provide suggestions together with the project managers, support, and bring the overall office forward.
- Master's degree level or equivalent, with very high expertise in required fields, including M&A, Market, Company Law, Finance, and IPO.
- Several years of carve-out experience, leading a consequent number of international carve-out projects or concept workstreams in complex global settings in a large corporation or as an advisor.
- High analytical capabilities and deep understanding of business processes, communication skills to interact on eye-level with consultants and Top Management.
- Intercultural leadership experience with large international project teams, able to bring people together, high program/project management skills in complex global contexts, and certificate is a plus.
- High multi-language communication skills, full English business proficiency required, IT affinity, motivated about digitalization, hands-on mindset, can-do attitude, able to navigate in a volatile, time-pressured environment, and adaptability, flexibility.
