Position Overview
The role of Carve-out Workstream Lead is pivotal within the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions framework, specifically within the Carve-out Management Office (COMO). This office is responsible for overseeing operational project management and governance related to carve-out initiatives. We are seeking a leader for the transversal carve-out workstream, which involves navigating complex and demanding projects that span various functions and operate under the pressures of a dynamic M&A landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the most intricate transversal workstream in significant strategic carve-out projects, encompassing multiple sites, countries, and functions. Ensure accountability for the deliverables associated with the carve-out concept across all project workstreams, domain functions, and regions, including the overall target operating model. Guarantee the consistency and thoroughness of project plans and activities, providing guidance to project managers on carve-out specifics. Serve as a senior advisor in defining the carve-out scope and designing a new operational model, particularly for small to medium enterprises. Manage interdependencies and risks associated with carve-out projects. Direct project office resources and external consultants to generate necessary data and documentation, ensuring alignment with the overall business plan. Lead assessments of carve-out readiness prior to project go/no-go decisions. Implement best practices and guidelines established by the carve-out governance body, ensuring adherence to key project management methodologies. Collaborate closely with the COMO team, sharing insights and recommendations to enhance project outcomes.Candidate Profile
Possess a Master's degree or equivalent, with extensive expertise in relevant fields such as M&A, Market Analysis, Corporate Law, Finance, and IPO processes. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple international carve-out projects or workstreams within complex global environments. Strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of business processes. Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with consultants and senior management. Proven intercultural leadership experience with large international project teams. High-level program and project management skills in intricate global contexts; certification is advantageous. Proficient in multiple languages, with full business proficiency in English required. A strong affinity for IT and digitalization, combined with a proactive, adaptable mindset. A collaborative team player who values cooperation and is eager to learn and grow.-
