Position Overview
The Carve-out Workstream Lead plays a pivotal role within the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions framework at ZF Group. This position is crucial for overseeing the operational management of carve-out projects, ensuring effective governance and adherence to established methodologies. As we expand our capabilities, we seek a leader who can navigate the complexities of carve-out initiatives across various functions and hierarchies.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the most intricate transversal workstream in significant strategic carve-outs, encompassing multiple sites, countries, and functions. Ensure accountability for the delivery of carve-out concepts across all project workstreams, including IT, cost adjustments, and standalone operational models. Guarantee the consistency and thoroughness of project plans and activities, providing guidance to project managers on potential challenges. Serve as a senior advisor in defining the carve-out scope and designing new operational models, particularly for small to medium enterprises. Manage interdependencies and risks associated with carve-out projects. Direct resources and external consultants to generate necessary data and documentation, ensuring alignment with the overall business plan. Lead assessments of carve-out readiness prior to project go/no-go decisions. Implement best practices and guidelines established by the carve-out governance body, ensuring adherence to key project management methodologies. Integrate the carve-out management office team, sharing insights and recommendations to enhance overall project execution.Candidate Profile
Master’s degree or equivalent, with extensive expertise in relevant fields such as M&A, finance, and corporate law. Proven experience in managing international carve-out projects within complex global environments. Strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of business processes. Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with consultants and senior management. Experience in intercultural leadership, adept at uniting diverse project teams. High-level program and project management skills, with certification being an advantage. Proficient in multiple languages, with full business proficiency in English required. A strong affinity for IT and digitalization, with a proactive, adaptable approach to challenges. A collaborative team player, demonstrating curiosity and a commitment to personal and professional growth.-
