Director of Product Management for Plant Operations

As the Director of Product Management for Plant Operations, you will hold the comprehensive responsibility for the global profit and loss within the NEXEED IAS product area. Your role is pivotal in shaping and articulating the business and product vision, setting targets, and strategizing for growth, which includes exploring partnerships and potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Your responsibilities will also encompass defining innovative business models and pricing strategies, ensuring that market demands are effectively represented, and serving as the voice of the customer within the organization.
A key aspect of your position is to guarantee customer-centricity in portfolio development by employing user experience methodologies. You will be tasked with creating and sustaining a product roadmap that aligns seamlessly with the overarching business objectives and customer requirements.
Additionally, you will lead and inspire product teams comprising over 150 professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field is essential.
- Experience and Expertise: Demonstrated leadership experience in agile settings; extensive professional background in product management within the manufacturing sector, particularly with software solutions for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as SIEMENS Opcenter, ABB Ability, DELMIA Apriso, and GE Proficy.
- Personal Attributes and Work Style: A strategic thinker capable of translating concepts into actionable business plans; exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
