Director of Product Management for Plant Operations

In this role, you will take full ownership of the global profit and loss responsibilities for the product area NEXEED IAS. Your primary focus will be to articulate and disseminate the business and product vision, objectives, and strategies, which include collaboration on partnerships and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Additionally, you will establish business models and pricing strategies, ensuring that market demands are represented and acting as the voice of the customer within the organization.
A crucial aspect of your position is to maintain a customer-centric approach in defining the product portfolio, utilizing user experience methodologies.
You will also be responsible for creating and sustaining a product roadmap that aligns with the organization's business objectives and customer requirements.
Lastly, you will lead product teams comprising over 150 professionals, guiding them towards achieving their goals.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field is essential.
- Experience and Expertise: Demonstrated leadership experience in agile settings; extensive professional background in product management within the manufacturing sector, particularly with software for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including SIEMENS Opcenter, ABB Ability, DELMIA Apriso, and GE Proficy.
- Personal Attributes and Work Style: You possess the ability to think strategically and translate those thoughts into actionable business plans; your exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills set you apart.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
