We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at CARSYNC GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of business mobility in Germany.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of key features within our microservices-based architecture.
- Contribute to the development of REST APIs, Kafka events, and database integrations.
- Participate in agile software development methodologies, including SCRUM and Kanban.
- Stay up-to-date with modern technologies and contribute fresh ideas to our team.
- At least 3 years of experience in Java Web Development.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with Java 8+ (we use 17, but knowledge of 8 would be sufficient).
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Kafka events.
- Experience with databases and messaging systems like MySQL, Redis, and Kafka.
- Gradle and CI/CD pipelines.
