About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at CARSYNC GmbH, a leading provider of business mobility solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of mobility in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of key features and integrations
  • Contribute to the development of our microservices-based architecture and REST APIs
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and clean code principles
  • Work closely with the Backend Community of Practice to foster technical knowledge sharing and promote best practices
Requirements
  • Strong experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot
  • Proficiency in databases and messaging systems like MySQL, Redis, and Kafka
  • Experience with REST APIs, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
