About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at CARSYNC GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of business mobility in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using Java 8+
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of key features within our microservices-based architecture
  • Contribute to the development of REST APIs, Kafka events, and database integrations
  • Participate in agile software development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and ensure adherence to best practices (clean code)
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Java Web Development
  • Proficiency in English
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of databases and messaging systems like MySQL, Redis, and Kafka
