About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at CARSYNC GmbH, a leading provider of business mobility solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of mobility in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of key features within our microservices-based architecture.
  • Develop REST APIs and Kafka events to integrate with multiple clients and systems.
  • Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, e2e testing, and component testing.
  • Work closely with our Backend Community of Practice to foster technical knowledge sharing and promote best practices.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Java Web Development.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and a commitment to clean code.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with modern, state-of-the-art technologies.
