About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at CARSYNC GmbH, a leading company in the business mobility sector. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of mobility by contributing to the development of our microservices-based architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable backend systems using Java 8+
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate REST APIs, Kafka events, and other microservices
  • Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices
  • Participate in agile software development methodologies, such as SCRUM and Kanban
  • Stay up-to-date with modern technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Java Web Development
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and best practices
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of databases and messaging systems like MySQL, Redis, and Kafka
  • REST API design and implementation
