About the Role

Pacemo GmbH, a pioneering software company specializing in digital solutions for the funeral industry, is seeking a highly skilled Head of Operations to join our team.

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the day-to-day operations of our company, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources, processes, and people. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing various business functions, including talent management, people operations, legal, strategy, operations, and analytics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and effective management of resources, processes, and people.
  • Manage various business functions, including talent management, people operations, legal, strategy, operations, and analytics.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Manage company goals creation, operation, and completion.
  • Take responsibility for team structure and development, working closely with our Founders and People Lead.
  • Manage and resolve company risks and strategic questions.
  • Identify areas of improvement in the business and implement operational efficiency.
  • Take ownership of strategic projects, such as managing office relocation.
  • Assist our Founders in investor relations and preparation for board meetings.
  • Take on ad hoc legal projects as needed.
  • Research strategic questions using company analytics platforms and data analysis.
About You

We are looking for a strong communicator with empathy and team-orientation, excellent German and English skills (written and spoken), and relevant experience in a similar role. You should have experience in B2B, SaaS, and scaling models, and be strategic by nature, always thinking of the bigger picture.
