Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Relation Specialist to join our team at the a&o Hostel Hamburg Reeperbahn. As a key member of our reception team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Welcome arriving groups, such as school classes, and provide them with information about our hotel's customs and procedures.
  • Support guests with check-in and check-out formalities, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Provide individualized attention to guests during breakfast, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collect and encourage guest feedback, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assist with reception duties, including check-in and check-out, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Monitor online rating portals, responding to guest reviews and feedback in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Enrolled student (m/f/x) with a valid certificate of enrollment for a full-time course of study.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Proactive and open-minded approach, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field is an asset.
  • High degree of commitment and independence, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Very good German and good English skills.
