Launched recently, Vinted Go focuses on creating products and solutions that enhance shipping and delivery efficiency throughout Europe. Vinted Go has successfully linked over 40 carriers and numerous PUDO points across Europe, supporting the distribution of millions of parcels annually.
The Vinted Group, which includes Vinted Marketplace and Vinted Go, is headquartered in Vilnius and operates in various countries including Germany, Lithuania, France, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, employing over 2,000 individuals. The company is supported by prominent venture capital firms such as Accel, Burda Principal Investments, EQT Growth, Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Sprints Capital.
Position Overview
We are in search of a Senior Analyst to enhance our People Analytics Team. As Vinted expands with new offerings, locations, and increasing intricacies, there is a pressing need to bolster decision-making processes within the organization through insightful people data.
In your role as a Senior Analyst, your main responsibility will involve analyzing and interpreting data throughout the employee lifecycle, providing a comprehensive perspective from recruitment to alumni status. You will have the chance to develop People analytics products from the ground up and influence the People Analytics function at Vinted. We seek a unique candidate who possesses a blend of HR domain knowledge, proficiency in analytical tools, and the capability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Reporting to the People Analytics Lead, you will collaborate within a team dedicated to advancing people analytics at Vinted. Your work will involve data from various People systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Peakon, among others.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of People Analytics products and foster a data-driven culture.
- Analyze business challenges and assist business leaders and the People team in translating these into data-supported solutions.
- Manage dashboards and analyses that encompass the entire Employee Life Cycle (From Hire to Retire).
- Engage in cross-functional projects and initiatives within the People team.
Candidate Profile
- BSc or MSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Expertise in HR domains.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and narrative skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, preferably Looker, but Tableau and Power BI are also acceptable.
- Proficient in Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
- Knowledge of Workday reporting is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience in statistics and advanced analysis, including hypothesis testing, forecasting, predictions, sentiment analysis, etc.
- Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (R, Python, Matlab, etc.).
- Ability to utilize SQL.
- Experience with app scripting in Google Sheets.
