Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to become a vital part of our People Analytics Team. As Vinted expands with new offerings and locations, there is an increasing need to support decision-making processes with comprehensive people data.
In this role, your main responsibility will be to analyze and interpret data throughout the employee lifecycle, providing a comprehensive perspective from recruitment to alumni status. You will have the chance to develop People analytics products from the ground up and influence the People Analytics function at Vinted. We are looking for a unique candidate who possesses a blend of HR domain knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Reporting to the People Analytics Lead, you will collaborate within a team dedicated to advancing people analytics at Vinted. Your work will involve data from various People systems, including Workday, Greenhouse, Peakon, and others.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of People Analytics products and foster a data-driven culture.
- Analyze business challenges and assist business leaders and the People team in translating these into data-supported solutions.
- Manage dashboards and analyses that encompass the entire Employee Life Cycle (From Hire to Retire).
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives within the People team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Expertise in HR domain.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and storytelling capabilities.
- Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Looker, but Tableau and Power BI are also relevant.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Familiarity with Workday reporting is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Practical experience in statistics and advanced analysis, such as hypothesis testing, forecasting, predictions, and sentiment analysis.
- Knowledge of at least one statistical programming language (R, Python, Matlab, etc.).
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with app scripting in Google Sheets.
