Receivables Management Specialist

Lightspeed is in search of a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to enhance our Finance department. In this role, you will engage directly with customers regarding their overdue accounts. If you possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to maintain a friendly yet assertive demeanor, this position is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts with overdue balances.
- Keep precise and comprehensive records of interactions with customers to support ongoing collection efforts.
- Supervise accounts with past-due amounts to ensure prompt payments and uphold positive relationships.
- Handle communications through email and manage discussions via digital platforms.
- Identify and escalate accounts to appropriate collection agencies as necessary.
- Maintain consistent communication with collection agencies to resolve outstanding accounts.
- Generate and analyze reports to pinpoint and address overdue accounts.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, late payments, and other discrepancies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with various departments to rectify billing and payment inconsistencies.
- Contribute to the broader team goals, even if it involves tasks beyond your usual responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ideally, one year of experience in accounts receivable.
- Proficient communication skills in both German and English.
- Technological proficiency.
