Accounts Receivable Specialist

Your Role as an Accounts Receivable Specialist
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, from invoicing and payment processing to customer communication and dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Invoicing & Payment Processing: Generate invoices, process direct debit payments, and manage pre-notifications.
- Lease Accounting: Handle commercial lease agreements, including rent, utilities, and deposits.
- Open Item Management: Independently monitor and reconcile open items, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Dunning & Customer Service: Conduct dunning processes, handle customer complaints, and process corrections and refunds.
- Account Reconciliation: Review transit and clearing accounts, identify and correct differences, and prepare reports.
- Data Management: Verify petty cash, perform data exports/imports for SAP posting, and manage delivery note imports/exports via an interface.
- Communication & Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers, property management employees, operations teams, regional managers, and customer service representatives.
- Master Data Maintenance: Create and maintain accurate customer master data.
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Completed commercial training (e.g., office clerk, industrial clerk) with extensive experience in accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Word and Excel (preferably O365).
- Solid user knowledge of SAP/FI (experience with SAP/SD and SAP S/4HANA is a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, structured, and reliably.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, team-oriented approach, and goal-driven mindset.
- Good command of English is advantageous.
