Job Overview:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Invoicing and Payment Processing: Execute billing procedures and organize payment cycles for direct debits, including the preparation and distribution of pre-notification documents.
  • Lease Agreement Management: Oversee the accounting aspects of commercial lease contracts, including rent, utility charges, and security deposits.
  • Open Item Monitoring: Independently track and reconcile outstanding items, addressing any inconsistencies that arise.
  • Dunning Procedures: Manage the dunning process, resolve customer complaints independently, and accurately post adjustments and refunds.
  • Account Reconciliation: Review transit and clearing accounts, identify discrepancies, document them, and generate reports on these differences.
  • Petty Cash Verification: Conduct petty cash audits and facilitate data transfers for posting in SAP.
  • Delivery Note Management: Oversee the export and import of delivery notes through an interface, ensuring compliance across all cost centers.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise effectively with customers, property management staff, operational teams, and regional managers.
  • Customer Data Management: Create and maintain comprehensive customer master records.
Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A completed commercial training background (e.g., office management, industrial management, or similar) with substantial experience in accounting, particularly in accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel (preferably O365).
  • Strong familiarity with SAP/FI, with additional knowledge in SAP/SD and SAP S/4HANA being advantageous.
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently, with a structured and reliable approach.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative, goal-oriented mindset.
  • A good command of English is a plus.
