Sales Manager for Solar Modules

Position Overview
The Solar Module Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of solar modules within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the solar module sales business by assessing the regional market landscape, including supply and demand dynamics, government regulations, and competitor analysis.
- Formulate tailored business development strategies for potential partners, establishing and nurturing relationships with distributors, installers, and consultants.
- Set and pursue quarterly and annual sales objectives, employing diverse strategies to meet these targets.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on regional initiatives such as trade shows, product launches, and promotional events.
- Generate and present sales reports for regular performance evaluations.
- Gather insights on customer requirements and market trends to inform product strategy and development in the photovoltaic module sector.
- Engage with key industry players to understand their business motivations and ensure our offerings provide maximum value.
- Prepare competitive proposals that align with customer tender specifications, optimizing our product offerings both technically and commercially.
- Identify and explore new market segments to expand our product reach.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain consistency in product delivery and timelines.
- Participate in final product design reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with field marketing and sales teams to manage the product launch process effectively.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of three years of experience in the solar module sales sector, particularly with manufacturers or in sales to developers and EPCs.
· Demonstrated success in sales and business development.
· Familiarity with customer procurement processes and the ability to respond effectively.
· Strong decision-making skills regarding product guidelines and project completion.
· Proficient in interpreting financial reports, including budgets and product costs.
· An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on sales.
· A proactive, competitive spirit with a strong drive for results.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
· High-level analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify core principles and facts.
· Self-starter with the capacity to work independently and take initiative.
· Strong organizational, strategic planning, and implementation skills.
· Willingness to travel as necessary.
· Proficiency in both German and English.
· This role is designated as a home office position.
