Position Overview

The role involves spearheading the sales operations for our solar module offerings.

  • Analyze the local market landscape, focusing on supply and demand dynamics, regulatory frameworks, competitor activities, and the relationships with key distributors and installers.
  • Formulate tailored business development strategies for each potential partner, fostering and nurturing these relationships through ongoing engagement.
  • Establish quarterly and annual sales objectives, employing various strategies to meet and exceed these targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing on regional initiatives such as trade shows, presentations, and product launches.
  • Compile and present sales performance reports for regular assessments.
  • Gather insights on customer requirements and market trends, integrating feedback from leadership to refine product strategies within the photovoltaic module sector.
  • Engage with significant industry players in the designated region to understand their business motivations, ensuring our offerings deliver maximum value.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals that meet customer tender specifications, optimizing our product offerings from both technical and commercial perspectives.
  • Identify and explore new market segments to broaden our product reach.
  • Coordinate with internal teams or external partners to ensure alignment in product delivery and expectations.
  • Participate in final product design evaluations to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with field marketing and sales teams to effectively manage the product launch process.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of three years of experience in the solar module sales sector, particularly with manufacturers or in sales to developers and EPCs.

· Demonstrated success in sales and business development.

· Proficient in navigating customer procurement processes.

· Strong decision-making skills regarding product guidelines and objectives.

· Familiarity with financial documentation, including budgeting and product costs.

· Background in entrepreneurial sales roles.

· Proactive, competitive, and driven mindset.

· Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in teams.

· High level of analytical and critical thinking skills to discern underlying principles and facts.

· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

· Strong organizational, strategic planning, and implementation capabilities.

· Willingness to travel as necessary.

· Proficiency in both German and English.

· This position is designed for remote work.
