Key Account Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in Hamburg. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing national customer strategies, ensuring the achievement of sales and revenue targets, and optimizing customer profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies for key customers in collaboration with the sales channel strategy
- Plan and conduct annual customer reviews in collaboration with the management level
- Achieve budgeted sales targets for each customer
- Negotiate terms and conditions and implement the results
- Implement planned activities for sustainable customer retention
- Ensure customer profitability
Requirements
- Completed studies in a commercial or economic field or comparable training
- At least 3 years of experience in customer management in the retail/food retail/drogerie sector
- Understanding of the concepts, strategies, and approaches in the trade
- Cross-functional experience (marketing/retail marketing) desirable
- Analytical understanding and negotiation skills
- Interdisciplinary and team-oriented working style
- Result-oriented and willingness to take responsibility
- Fluent German and English in word and writing
- Secure knowledge of the common MS Office programs, Nielsen, and SAP
