Sales Development Representative

At Questel, we deliver technology-driven solutions and software designed to enhance the innovation development process in a secure, efficient, and sustainable manner. As a vital member of Questel's Sales Development Representative team, your primary responsibility will be to expand the sales pipeline to meet the company's objectives and targets. You will be tasked with generating leads, nurturing relationships, and supporting Sales and Marketing teams to propel business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture professional relationships with C-level executives by initiating and following up on communications to create new opportunities.
- Generate qualified monthly meetings through outbound calls and email campaigns for the sales team across all product and service lines focused on intellectual property.
- Identify and map territories/accounts for potential sales leads.
- Collaborate with management to develop phone and email pitches tailored for each ideal customer profile in the intellectual property sector.
- Create individualized strategic business plans to penetrate accounts within each territory.
- Follow up on Questel events and communications (webinars, newsletters, whitepapers, etc.).
- Work closely with sales managers to adapt to evolving priorities.
- Partner with the marketing team to enhance social media initiatives across the sales team to identify prospects.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to management via CRM and email for effective tracking and monitoring of monthly goals.
We are seeking someone with at least 3 years of experience in sales and new customer acquisition through cold calling. Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Confidence in phone communications.
- Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to assess customer needs and present effective solutions.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while regularly reporting on progress.
- Experience with CRM software is advantageous.
- Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to completing assignments, driven by results, and ambitious to exceed set objectives.
- Willingness to engage in a responsive culture to strengthen relationships and respect the needs and time of others.
- Fluency in English AND German.
