As a Brand Development Specialist, you will engage in all facets of e-commerce across the Pan-EU landscape, taking the lead in cultivating relationships with brands and formulating both immediate and long-term strategies aimed at driving brand expansion and improving Customer Satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include acting as a consultant to influence product selection and promotional strategies, continuously tracking success metrics, and ensuring that brands utilizing AVS receive a customer-centric experience.

Moreover, you will work alongside various stakeholders to implement innovative concepts and processes within Amazon EU, collaborating with teams in Product Category Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Marketing, thereby paving the way for your professional growth and future career trajectory.

This position will focus on four primary business domains:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Core Services: Leverage advanced data analytics to identify opportunities within the EU market, providing recommendations to enhance overall business performance by utilizing Amazon programs for sustained benefits.
  • Operational Excellence: Launch operational excellence initiatives within the EU supply chain, aiming to reduce costs, defects, and lead times while optimizing inventory management at our fulfillment centers.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Advise on marketing and advertising strategies, promoting new product launches, increasing traffic, and improving conversion rates. Organize and manage promotional activities for significant Amazon events, assisting brands in boosting sales. Additionally, collaborate on brand-focused weeks with vendors and work closely with Amazon Advertising to explore further marketing avenues.
  • Product Selection & Quality: Facilitate product selection growth by overseeing new product introductions and enhancing visibility. Identify product gaps, onboard new offerings, drive their ramp-up, and improve the customer experience on Amazon by optimizing product detail pages and conducting competitor analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English (minimum C1 level).
  • Fluency in both written and spoken German (minimum C1 level).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong business insight and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in an additional European language (preferably English, French, Italian, or Spanish).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or website content management systems.
  • Effective communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
