Our company sources and stores direct market data feeds from various exchanges and market participants worldwide. We have built one of the most comprehensive ticker plants, offering a broad range of data services for streaming, consolidation, storage, extraction, and analytics. These include index construction and maintenance for buy-side and sell-side institutions of the global financial industry.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with business lines to deliver strategic financial insights, coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes, developing financial models to aid decision-making, and providing periodic reporting for senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business lines to deliver strategic financial insights and support business growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
  • Develop financial models to aid decision-making and provide data-driven insights to senior management.
  • Provide periodic reporting for senior management, including analysis and insights that link financial reports to business strategies.
  • Deliver financial literacy training to staff to improve financial acumen and decision-making.
  • Review client accounts and projects to identify risks and underperformance of finances early.
  • Undertake due diligence research on acquisitions and mergers to ensure sound financial decisions.
  • Communicate opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to address financial challenges.
  • Develop and maintain relationships across the business to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or economic field, +6 years of experience working as a Finance Business Partner or Head of Finance, and professional qualifications, including completing an internationally recognized accounting designation such as CPA, ACA, ACMA, or ACCA. The candidate should also have experience working with business requirements, strong analytical skills, and ability to work with a large amount of information. Strong knowledge of Excel and ability to work independently and proactively manage upcoming deliverables are also essential. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, including effective communication abilities with individual colleagues, relevant teams, and senior management and board members, are required. Strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills are also necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with financial software is a plus.
