Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Strategist to partner with our business lines and deliver strategic financial insights, coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes, and develop financial models to aid decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business lines to deliver strategic financial insights and coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Develop financial models to aid decision-making and provide periodic reporting for senior management.
  • Deliver financial literacy training to staff and improve the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance.
  • Review client accounts and projects to identify risks and underperformance of finances early.
  • Undertake due diligence research on acquisitions and mergers and communicate opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships across the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or economic field.
  • +6 years of experience working as a Finance Business Partner or Head of Finance.
  • Professional qualifications, including completing an internationally recognized accounting designation such as CPA, ACA, ACMA, or ACCA.
  • Experience working with business requirements and ability to make complex decisions and rationalize them according to others.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work with a large amount of information, and strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage upcoming deliverables.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, including effective communication abilities with individual colleagues, relevant teams, and senior management and board members.
  • Strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Experience working with financial software.
