Overview

About the Role: Entrix GmbH is in search of a proficient and driven Senior Finance Manager (d/f/m) to enhance our financial strategy and operations. This pivotal position will ensure our fiscal stability and support our growth ambitions. The successful candidate will possess a robust finance background, exceptional analytical capabilities, and a strong commitment to the clean energy sector. You will collaborate closely with Entrix's senior leadership and founding team.

  • Salary Range: Competitive, based on experience
  • Work Setup: Office-first
  • Language Requirement: Proficient in English and German (C1 Level)
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Direct long-term financial planning and daily liquidity management. Conduct thorough analyses of financial performance against objectives, delivering actionable insights and comprehensive management reports.
  • Investor Relations: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with investors, provide regular updates, and assist in fundraising initiatives.
  • Compliance and Accounting Oversight: Guarantee the precise preparation of financial statements and adherence to all relevant financial regulations. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and financial service providers to ensure optimal support and accuracy.
  • Accounts Management: Supervise all facets of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient and timely payment processing.
  • Energy Trading Coordination: Collaborate with tech and operations teams to ensure accurate accounting of daily energy trading transactions and effective management of collateral positions. Support invoicing processes and maintain oversight of payment statuses with customers.
  • Process Improvement: Design, implement, and maintain financial processes and tools in partnership with relevant stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior financial role with a proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and strategy.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills complemented by an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Passionate about developing scalable and automated processes with solid expertise in financial software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Fluency in German and English.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the energy trading sector or within rapidly growing companies is a plus.

Note: This position may not be suitable for individuals with a professional accounting background lacking experience in a broader finance role.
