Overview

About the Role: Entrix GmbH is in search of a proficient and driven Senior Finance Manager (d/f/m) to spearhead our financial strategy and operations. This pivotal position will ensure our fiscal stability while supporting our ambitious growth plans. The ideal candidate will possess a robust finance background, exceptional analytical capabilities, and a strong commitment to the clean energy sector. You will collaborate closely with the senior management and founding team at Entrix.

  • Employment Type: Full-Time, indefinite term
  • Salary Range: Competitive, based on experience
  • Work Setup: Office-first environment
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English and German (C1 Level)
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Direct both long-term financial strategies and daily liquidity management. Conduct thorough analyses of financial performance, providing actionable insights and comprehensive management reports.
  • Investor Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, ensuring effective communication and regular reporting while assisting in fundraising efforts.
  • Accounting Oversight: Guarantee the precise preparation of financial statements and adherence to all relevant financial regulations. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and financial service providers for optimal support.
  • Payment Management: Supervise all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient and timely payment processing.
  • Energy Trading Accounting: Collaborate with technology and operations teams to ensure accurate accounting of daily energy trading transactions and effective collateral management.
  • Process Improvement: Design, implement, and maintain financial processes and tools in partnership with relevant stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a senior financial role with proven expertise in financial planning and analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Passionate about developing scalable and automated processes, with solid knowledge of financial software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Fluency in both German and English.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the energy trading sector or in rapidly growing companies is a plus.

Note: This position may not be suitable for individuals whose experience is solely in professional accounting without exposure to broader finance roles.
