Lead Financial Strategist

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the CFO and the executive team to establish robust financial processes and controls.
  • Provide timely, relevant, and consistent financial reports and management insights in partnership with the accounting team.
  • Oversee the group audit, ensuring a clean report, reconciling year-end information, supervising accountants, and ensuring tax compliance.
  • Deliver precise weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data, presenting insights to senior management while highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the extended leadership team with detailed product and customer analyses to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Monitor and enhance critical working capital processes, including treasury management, procure-to-pay, accounts receivable, and credit management.
  • Play a pivotal role in the implementation of a new ERP system to optimize and enhance financial operations.
  • Responsible for executing integration plans for acquisitions, overseeing costs and timelines before, during, and after transactions.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience as a Financial Controller in high-growth SaaS companies.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, including consolidated accounting, management accounting, and tax knowledge (VAT and corporate tax).
  • Expertise in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and handling large datasets.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a focus on high-quality, detail-oriented work.
  • A commercially minded, proactive strategist with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, influence, and communication capabilities with key stakeholders.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English.
