About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EPC Development Manager to join our team at ib vogt, a leading renewable energy company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development of large-scale solar PV projects from preparation to realization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Preparation
    • Manage the upcoming EPC pipeline for specific markets.
    • Liaise with the development team to monitor qualified projects for EPC services and/or realization.
    • Perform due diligence on development packages and advise on necessary actions to achieve a 'ready-to-built' stage.
    • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to define scope, schedule, and budget for the EPC phase.
    • Plan early EPC workstreams necessary to achieve project timelines.
  • Market Development
    • Identify EPC & O&M contractor requirements for new markets.
    • Run 3rd party EPC, O&M tenders for internal benchmarking and prepare for the Make/Buy decision.
    • Identify preferred EPC and O&M setup options.
    • Identify legal and technical advisors as well as potential contractors.
Requirements
  • A degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management or a related field.
  • Technical understanding of solar photovoltaics and familiarity with procurement, construction, and logistics of investment projects.
  • Advanced skill level in data analytics, MS Office 365, and related IT applications.
  • Well-developed intercultural skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to coordinate well with internal teams and external clients or partners.
  • Systematic and proactive organizational approach.
  • Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken; any other language is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.
