EPC Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EPC Development Manager to join our team at ib vogt. As a key member of our project development team, you will be responsible for preparing our entry into new EPC markets and providing early consultation on projects in our development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate multi-expertise teams to define scope, schedule, and budget for the EPC phase of upcoming projects.
  • Conduct due diligence on development packages and advise on necessary actions to achieve a "ready-to-built" stage, including studies, surveys, and design optimization.
  • Trigger early EPC workstreams to achieve project timelines, such as grid works, site preparation, and ordering of long-lead items.
  • Liaise with internal teams on pre-construction and other EPC requirements, including lease, insurance, health and safety, licenses, local entity setup, taxes, and logistics.
  • Support the legal department and contract manager during negotiation and preparation of the EPC contract and its appendices.
  • Manage EPC development support services provided to other business units, joint ventures, or external clients.
Requirements
  • Academic degree in engineering or business with at least three years of relevant work experience.
  • Well-developed intercultural skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to coordinate well with internal teams and external clients or partners.
  • Systematic and proactive organizational approach with an ability to switch between details and big-picture focus.
  • Technical understanding of solar photovoltaics and familiarity with procurement, construction, and logistics of investment projects.
  • Advanced skill level in data analytics, MS Office 365, and related IT applications.
