Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with stakeholders, project managers, and system administrators to gather and analyze business requirements and objectives related to server platform architecture in the operational technology (OT) sector.
  • Craft detailed architectural designs and frameworks for OT server infrastructure, focusing on virtualization technologies, private cloud solutions, and on-premise server clusters.
  • Assess and propose suitable technologies and solutions to fulfill business requirements, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and security protocols.
  • Oversee the execution and deployment of architectural solutions, offering direction and support to project teams throughout the implementation phase.
  • Design automated deployment workflows for server platforms to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of existing OT server infrastructure to pinpoint areas for enhancement and optimization.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in designing server platform solutions within enterprise settings, particularly with a focus on OT systems, virtualization technologies, and private cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge of server virtualization principles, technologies, and best practices, especially with VMware.
  • Understanding of OT systems and their integration with server platforms.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing server hardware and software components in OT environments.
  • Proven experience with project management methodologies and tools, successfully leading complex architectural initiatives.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
