Network Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities- Engage collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements and objectives pertaining to network architecture.
- Perform thorough evaluations of current IT and OT network infrastructures to guide the design and planning phases for project implementations.
- Craft comprehensive network architecture designs that align with project specifications, taking into account system integration, performance enhancement, and cybersecurity measures.
- Produce project-specific network diagrams, documentation, and implementation strategies that detail proposed architectures, configurations, and resource needs.
- Offer technical expertise and support throughout project execution, ensuring compliance with design standards, industry best practices, and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to acquire necessary equipment, coordinate installations, and oversee testing and validation of network solutions.
- Several years of demonstrated experience in network architecture design and implementation, particularly in project rollout contexts, with an emphasis on IT and OT integration.
- In-depth understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless communications.
- Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, and other operational technologies commonly utilized in manufacturing settings.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a proven track record of managing complex network rollout projects from initiation to completion.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to work effectively within cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Project+) are preferred.
