Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with stakeholders, project leaders, and system administrators to gather and analyze business requirements and objectives pertaining to server platform architecture in the operational technology (OT) sector.
  • Craft detailed architectural designs and frameworks for OT server infrastructure, focusing on virtualization solutions, private cloud setups, and on-premise server clusters.
  • Assess and suggest suitable technologies and solutions that align with business needs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and security protocols.
  • Oversee the deployment and execution of architectural solutions, offering support and direction to project teams throughout the implementation phase.
  • Design automated deployment strategies for server platforms to enhance efficiency, uniformity, and scalability.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of existing OT server infrastructure to pinpoint areas for enhancement and optimization.
Candidate Profile
  • A minimum of several years' experience in designing server platform solutions within enterprise settings, with a strong emphasis on OT systems, virtualization technologies, and private cloud environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of server virtualization concepts, technologies, and best practices, particularly with VMware.
  • Understanding of OT systems and their integration with server platforms.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing server hardware and software components in OT contexts.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools, demonstrating a successful track record in leading complex architectural initiatives.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
