The RoleThis position presents a distinctive opportunity to transform global business processes and prepare the entire organization for future challenges. Currently, approximately 14,000 employees engage with existing SAP ERP systems, processing over 50 million transactions monthly.
ZEISS is focused on standardizing and streamlining various ERP systems across the organization during the transition from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA. Our objective is to align closely with SAP standards and harmonize processes across all divisions and regions where feasible, emphasizing efficiency, effectiveness, speed, flexibility, and compliance.
This project is both thrilling and intricate. The FIT4 initiative is a crucial element in executing the Company's strategic objectives.
- Manage specific business requirements at regional and segment levels towards the global SAP S/4HANA template through local fit-gap analyses under the guidance of deputy or hub process owners.
- Provide mentorship and direction to junior business experts in areas such as requirements analysis and business process modeling.
- Develop comprehensive process maps and models to depict refined business processes; drive the adaptation of end-to-end business processes in alignment with FIT4 goals for harmonization and standardization, collaborating with entity business experts on preparatory tasks like data cleansing.
- Design and oversee test cases, conducting functional end-to-end tests within the SAP S/4HANA system; assist in defining and executing functional test cases.
- Actively participate in the roll-in of assigned projects within a region, primarily within a segment, and potentially across multiple segments as coordinated by the regional hub lead.
- Collaborate with the training lead to assist in creating training materials and, if necessary, provide end-user training.
- 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in business; a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of at least one end-to-end business process (e.g., Lead-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Engineer-to-Order, Service-to-Customer, Plan-to-Produce, Inbound-to-Outbound, Record-to-Report, and specialized areas like Quality Management or Master Data Management).
- Proven experience in business requirements management and business process modeling.
- Familiarity with SAP R/3 (and ideally SAP S/4HANA) as well as relevant third-party business systems.
- Relevant industry knowledge.
- Exceptional conceptual, results-oriented, and communication skills.
- Aptitude for building networks and a desire to work within an intercultural and interdisciplinary global team.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Willingness to travel (up to 70%).
