About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management & Trade Marketing Lead to join our team at The Kraft Heinz Company in Düsseldorf, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for aligning our category marketing strategy with retailer strategies, converting brand and innovation initiatives into strong sell-in stories, and acting as a key contact to our retail sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Category Management professionals, Trade Marketing professionals, and interns to drive category growth and sales.
  • Define the retail channel and customer strategy aligned with the marketing strategy and shopper needs.
  • Analyze market data to understand risks and opportunities for each account.
  • Create sell-in support material to engage Kraft Heinz sales teams and customers for category initiatives.
  • Act as consultants on key category projects such as range reviews and strategic planning.
  • Develop an annual trade marketing strategy and drive shopper activations across all categories and customers.

Requirements

  • University degree in Management or Economics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Category Management, Trade, or Shopper Marketing within the FMCG sector.
  • Meaningful experience in leading, mentoring, and developing multiple team members.
  • Very good software skills (Gfk SimIT, Circana).
  • Fluent in German and English – mandatory.
